This consistent access to books nurtures early literacy skills, creates meaningful moments between caregivers and children, and builds a strong foundation for kindergarten readiness and lifelong success.

Every child deserves the magic of a bedtime story, yet many in Pinellas County lack access to books at home. Through Ready to Read Pinellas, families receive free, age-appropriate books each month—building early literacy skills and helping a child prepare for kindergarten and life.
For just $50, you can put books into the hands of young children in Pinellas County for a year.
