These grants will provide childcare providers funding to purchase startup materials for new infants
(birth to twelve months), and/or one-year-old (12-23 months) classrooms to increase capacity.
These grant amounts will vary up to $10,000. 

Eligible providers must have the following to apply

  • Have an active SR Agreement with the ELC 
  • Have a licensable space available to open an infant room or increase the number of infants in care (birth-23 months). This space will need to be approved by the Pinellas County Child Care Licensing Program.  
  • Be licensed for infants by Pinellas County Child Care Licensing Program, which includes the Director’s Orientation for Infant Care
