Our providers work hard to ensure that the children in their care receive quality learning and socialization experiences. We support our providers through professional development initiatives as well as a variety of community programs.

Jackie Lang, Imagination Station Preschool

Jackie Lang is a proud graduate of Florida A&M University with a B.S. Degree in Early Childhood/Elementary Education. She has been the owner and Director of Imagination Station Preschool since 2003. Prior to stepping into her dream of owning her own preschool, Jackie taught in Orange and Pinellas County school system for 13 years. She serves on the School Readiness Committee of the Concerned Organization for the Quality Education of Black Children, St. Petersburg College’s Early Childhood Advisory Board, and secretary on the Pinellas Technical College Childcare Apprenticeship Advisory Board. Jackie enjoys spending time with her family and traveling.

Sandra Hopkins, Christian Way Academy

Sandra Hopkins, a native of Miami Florida, attended schools in the Miami-Dade County area in which she also served as an educator for five years.  She has a B.S. in Biology from Shaw University, Raleigh, North Carolina. Mrs. Hopkins holds a State of Florida Professional Educators Certificate and her Directors Credential in Early Childhood. She has over 30 years of experience in the education field. She has taught students from all levels from Pre-K to Secondary. She has served as an Achievement Specialist, Professional Development Trainer, Parent Advocate, Recruitment Specialist, Classroom Teacher and now currently, Owner/Head of School at Christian Way Academy. She takes great pride in acknowledging her role as a wife, a mother of six children and four grandchildren.

Professional Development Institute
The Professional Development Institute (PDI) equips early educators with knowledge, support, and resources to implement best practices to improve child outcomes. Programming includes individualized coaching, specialized training, formal education scholarships, conferences, and Early Childhood Educator INCENTIVE$.
