PreK All Day

Learning and care more than just half-day.

We understand many children and families need more than a half-day program. PreK All Day (PKAD) is great option for children who need instructional time and enrichment services, and for families who need a full day of care. PKAD subsidizes the cost of additional hours of wrap-around care needed before and after the VPK day during the school year and full-time care during the summer before kindergarten.

How can families participate in PreK All Day?

PKAD is offered to families for children enrolled in VPK and eligible for our School Readiness program. The School Readiness Program assists eligible families in obtaining affordable, high-quality child care for children 0-12. Thanks to local funding from the Juvenile Welfare Board, School Readiness program is now offering expanded learning and care opportunities for families with children 0-5 to prepare them for Kindergarten. Funding is available for those who qualify and based on availability.
