School Readiness Scholarships

School Readiness (SR) programs serve disadvantaged families with children ages 0-12 years. SR provides tuition assistance for early learning and school-age care to support kindergarten readiness and academic success.

Voluntary PreK Program

Florida’s free Voluntary Prekindergarten (VPK) program is designed to prepare four-year-olds for kindergarten and build the foundation for their educational success. The program helps to ensure that all children are intellectually, emotionally, physically, and socially ready to enter school and ready to learn, fully recognizing the crucial role of parents as their child’s ?rst teacher.

PreK All Day Scholarships

PreK All Day (PKAD) is a scholarship program o?ered to families with children enrolled in VPK, but ineligible for School Readiness scholarships. PKAD allows families to cover the expenses for additional hours of wrap-around care needed before and after the VPK day.

Child Care Resource & Referral

Child Care Resource & Referral (CCR&R) is free community service assists families in choosing quality early education, after school care, or summer programs. In addition, CCR&R helps families apply for VPK, SR, or locate a child care facility that matches their family’s needs while also connecting families with community resources.
