VPK CLASS assessment

Check out the new changes to your VPK CLASS assessment!

As you prepare for your upcoming assessment, please note that all VPK instructional hours are observable and must meet the VPK Instructional Hour Program Guidance criteria. This includes outdoor playtime and "Specials" such as PE, Dance, Music, etc. 

  1. The above activities will be observed and scored using all CLASS dimensions, and those scores will be used to determine your composite score. 
  2. If the VPK classroom-approved Lead, Assistant, or Substitute does not participate in the above activities, special area teachers must meet VPK requirements.
